Over the past few years I've had the most distinct pleasure of working with jADE, she's the incredibly inspiring & energetic creator of Zapfashion.com. jADE's a talented fashion designer although she's not comfortable with that title, but that's exactly what she is. jADE began her career at the age of five, since she was old enough to first learn to sew & that's no exaggeration. All of her creations are as original & enchanting as she is, that's why I love working on projects with her.

She's involved every step of the way in her creations, jADE sketches her ideas, refines them till she's completely satisfied, long before she even begins to draft a pattern...how many designers do you know of these days, who create their own patterns? The thing that really made me take notice of her creations was, the quality of her work, whether it's one of her furry animal hats or a more complicated & layered ensemble, requiring many hours of fine stitching & hand detail. The quality blew me away, it's the same quality you'd expect of French or Italian couture & she's consistent in each piece she carefully creates.

I still get excited every time she unveils a new creation, it's as thrilling & fun as a new Cirque du Soleil show! Except I've always got a front row seat & backstage pass. So do you now.
